Born in Wągrowiec, he lives in Poznan. He studied Geology and Glacial Geomorphology and Quaternary Paleogeography at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan. After graduation, he went to Asia, where spent almost 10 years living, visiting and geting to know about countries such as Nepal, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia. Geologist, speleologist, polar explorer, mountaineer and climber, who – apart from Polish mountains, the Alps and the Spitsbergen – climbed in Turkey, Nepal, India, Tibet and Pakistan. He has reached two eight-thousanders: Annapurna I and Gasherbrum II. He is active as a musician playing music inspired by the Celtic tradition embellished with jazz, funk and chill-out (Jig Reel Maniacs ), he also is an expert and connoisseur of single malt whiskey. During his travels – except close relationship with his expedition and climbing companions – he is interested in music, language, medicine, culinary and distillates, psychology and sexology, and history of religious beliefs. He writes (for now to his own archive), does photographing and filming not bad.
